Testimonials

Ryan Porter:  Ryan was recently voted our most inspiring and improved athlete at CF Gwinnett. Way to go Ryan! Ryan’s been CrossFitting with us now or about a month or so and Friday he said to me, “Damn, the warm-up is getting easier!” Awesome. That’s how it’s supposed to work!

“After rehabbing from a serious car accident, I was content with the fact that I could walk again. I had accepted, over the past 5 years, the possibility that I may never run or be in good physical shape again. One day, I emailed SP about the CrossFit workouts I had heard him talking about and was immediately encouraged by his enthusiasm.

In a little less than a month, I can already feel drastic changes. I walk steadier, I can jog, I have much better cardio endurance, and my self-confidence has increased considerably. While these results are great and have come with hard work, the thing I enjoy the most about committing to CrossFit is the camaraderie of the group. Working out with these people is the most motivating thing I have done in a very long time. We are all here for each other. No one quits. That’s the CrossFit way.

I am looking forward to continuing the WODs and devoting myself to becoming the fittest I’ve ever been. This experience is life changing.”

Mickie Culler: “CrossFit has been amazing for me. Coming into this new lifestyle I was quite intimidated, as I have never been a huge fan of exercise. Throw in all the confusing CrossFit talk and I was completely lost and scared! Then I had the pleasure of attending my first WOD with Coach Steve. I was joined by numerous teammates comprised of other amateurs and those who *thought* they were in shape (boy were they wrong!). That WOD, however difficult, changed my whole perception of health, fitness, and teamwork. It was incredibly intense physically, but the emotional and mental support that seemed to “come with the territory” was outstanding. Now I just can’t get enough – I keep coming back time and time again like an addict. It is addictive, actually…the camaraderie, the accountability, the intensity. Knowing you’re doing something good for YOU, knowing you’re helping others do good for THEM, and being there, in the moment, pushing yourself far beyond the so-called limitations that held you back in the past. It makes you ask yourself: you have what it takes? I do! Bring it, Coach!”

Tia Walters: “I have always considered myself in decent physical shape and although I consistantly strived for more results, I began to believe that I was doomed to accept where I was. I ran 5x/week, which I still enjoy doing, and even did P90X for a little bit, but lost motivation. Nethier of these were giving me the body that I remembered having five years ago.

Within weeks of doing CrossFit I am beginning to see amazing results. My legs are firm and strong, my booty is perky again, and the fat around my stomach is slowly melting away. I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I know that with the training of CrossFit and the camaraderie of my team and friends that I am well on my way to achieving the goals I have been striving for.”

Jessi Lail: “When I first started CrossFit I was already at a fairly good level of fitness. After the first work out and the soreness that followed I felt that my body was much more responsive and that it was begging to be pushed that hard again. Since then I’ve been keeping up with work outs and have already started seeing some toning! Do it and forge your elite fitness!”
