Who are you? Tell us a little about yourself and your life…
I’m Eduardo Solis but most of my friends call me Eddie, I’m 27 and grew up in Atlanta. I work for a major cell phone company and attend school. I have a goal to open up my own business in fashion and art in 2017! Most of my friends think I should be a comedian but I honestly don’t find myself funny just irritated.
What does your past in fitness/athletics look like? Why did you decide to continue your fitness journey here?
I grew up playing soccer for 10 years and stopped when I attended high school! In September of 2014 I lost my best friend due to cancer. I dropped out of a semester of school and wasn’t motivated to do anything. My brother was attending PSF and told me to join him and that lifting weights could help release some stress. That’s exactly what it did, I was enjoying it a lot and it became something I did every morning.
How long have you been a member at PSF?
I’ve attended PSF for 2 years now!
What is something we might not know about you?
I used to model (before I was obese) and acted in many plays throughout high school! I also auditioned for American Idol Season 6
What is your favorite song to workout to?
Who Gon Stop Me – Jay-z & Kanye West
If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?
I would be an Owl, I’d rather sleep all day and party all night!
What was the worst thing you ate during the holidays?
I don’t think there was just one bad thing, but maybe having more than one plate would be it
What hobbies do you have?
My hobbies including raiding the fridge and my PS4!
What is it that keeps you coming back?
The workouts help release stress and overall be healthy! The doctor before PSF said I was obese and
now I’m average weight
What does the Peak Community mean to you?
It’s a family! We learn a lot from one another and motivate each other to do better and be stronger! Never in a million years did I think I would know what a snatch was and be able to do one.
What is one of your big goals for 2017? How are you going to accomplish that?
The biggest goal I have for 2017 is just to eat smart and cut poor food choices! Although I am obsessed with unhealthy foods. They way of accomplishing this goal would be just a step at a time, I currently agreed to no fast food except on the weekends. I’m already going through WITHDRAWLS!
